There is the standard stuff like coats, pants and snowboards. A wide variety of colors and styles are available to fit any kids desire. From solid colors to fluorescents to camouflage, any kids dream can be a reality.

There are the typical beanies that are created to eliminate the sweat while keeping the kid’s head warm. Don’t forget the Dakine Jr. gloves with the moisture protection and durable fabric. Safety goggles are a must for any snowboarder and kids are no different. From the Spy Target Mini Goggles to the EGK professional style, kids can have their own size to keep their eyes safe. To get kids off to a great start it is best to consider a safety helmet for those beginning their experience in snowboarding. Utilizing the fleece interior of the Smith helmet will create comfort while staying safe. This helmet also covers the ears for added protection. There are also kid sized backpack ready for the necessary supplies in case of emergency. No need for Mom or Dad to carry double duty when Sara or Tom can carry their share.

Where should you go for the kids to snowboard? Two places have specially designed options for kids. One is King Hill. This is located at Purity Spring Resort in New Hampshire. Not only do they have specific programs for beginners they also have groups that are created according to age. For those that live nearby there are actual teams for the younger generations to join.

Another great place for kids to snowboard is the Grand Targhee Resort. This resort is located Alta, Wyoming. Kids ages 7 to 14 years old are invited to experience the cool ride on soft powder with experienced guides. They have their own clubhouse created just for kids. If you live nearby they even host children’s birthday parties.
