Can DNA And Paternity Test Bring A Child Back To The Father?

The term “DNA and Paternity Test” itself specifies that the test is a paternal oriented one. It means to check and establish the identity of the child’s biological paternal links and source. That this test has become quite a common one, much like blood or urine sample tests done for checking general health, indicates a society that could be heading towards disruption and destruction.

DNA and paternity testing go hand in glove and the check is done by taking swabs of the child’s mother and in this case the suspected father for establishing the entire biological linkage between the three.

The child is subjected to a trauma which for sure would leave a lifelong scar upon his or her mind. That the child’s very origin is in question is indeed a very difficult aspect to digest for the individual who has to go through this trauma. Even after the DNA test or paternity test has been completed and the father’s identity established, it does not mean the end of trauma for the child. There is no surety whether the child and the father would accept each other even if science has stated a biological link between the two.

Father and child are mere terms and labels given to a relationship between two living beings. The affection, care and such other high scale emotional links and bonds are established not due to the terms of “father” and “son” but rather the feelings that come naturally within a man who has loved a woman and brought forth a new life thereon.

DNA and paternity tests may settle some court dispute, may settle some vengeful feeling that persists between two human beings. It may also bring material benefits to a child or the mother of the child; it can however very rarely bring a child back to his or her father in human sense.
