Activity For Children – Fun Is Fundamental

Do you organize a painting holiday at home to help your child learn how to paint better? Well, I have come across numerous instances where these holidays are run with discipline and precision that would do justice to a military camp. The child is expected to have a clear idea about what he or she wants to paint and is required to complete the same in time.

The child should not waste paint or should not soil his or her clothes. The work of the child is framed and highlighted at home if it is good. If it is bad, it is given as a gift to some other person. Well, don’t you wonder why the child will be interested in such a boring exercise? Is it surprising that your child is just not enthusiastic about the painting holiday?

How about grabbing dollops of paint in hand and throwing it on the canvas? How about allocating a portion of the wall on the child’s bedroom for the painting exercise? The idea is to help the child have fun. Whether the painting results in a masterpiece or not is irrelevant. The child should look back at the holiday and remember memories of laughter and fun with the entire family.

If the child remembers discipline and scolding, you can be rest assured that he or she will end up being disappointed that you are such a bad parent. Keep your child active and busy but make sure that involves a lot of fun and enjoyment for the child.
