I have a four year old son and a two months old one. Both of them are the cutest kids ever. But sometimes this cuteness changes and this normally happens when I most tired. I know it might sound like I am annoyed with my kids when I am tired, but that’s not the case. I love them a lot. I actually think that may be there is some unseen connection between me and my kids which causes them to be irritating when I am tired.
Thankfully with my elder son we have kind of passed the stage where we have to guess what’s wrong, but the younger one is the one I am scared of. I really think that he has a very bad temper, though right now he shows his temper only by crying, but sometimes you can feel the anger in the voice. What ticks me off is that my younger son would sometimes directly go to extremely high pitch crying. Most kids start with slight sounds and the sound will increase gradually, but he directly starts with the highest level. Sometimes in the night I would wake up scared out of my sleep, due to his screaming. He does not even give a warning.
My husband is a divorce lawyer and is currently dealing with a very complex international divorce, which is why he spends a lot of time reading while he is in the house. I try to keep the kids as quiet as possible, but I am not always successful. I get my elder son engaged in some game to keep him quiet, but how can I explain it to my 2 months old. My husband wants to put the dummy in the baby’s mouth, but I have strictly prohibited that, as I know once babies get the dummy they don’t drink from the breast any more. Well, I guess I will just have to continue to do my best; at the end of the day, if kids won’t go wild, then who would.
