Have you ever heard the term “you are what you eat”? If so, then it will not surprise you to know that eating certain foods can actually help firm your skin and face. Dark green vegetables are great for this job. They help with wrinkles and fine lines. This is because they are rich in antioxidants which fight free radical damage. They are also rich in vitamins and minerals which help with collagen production. Some foods you can consume for this is broccoli, asparagus, cabbage, spinach and kale. To get the most benefit from these veggies, eat them raw. They lose these helpful nutrients when cooked.
Did you know that you can wear certain foods to help firm your face and skin? Foods rich in Vitamin C such as strawberries and lemons make a great facial mask! Simply crush them up and add them to a half of cup of yogurt. This creates a face mask that can be used to fight off dead skin cells and unclog your pores! You want to apply it on your face after it has been cleaned and allow to sit for at least a half hour before rinsing off.
